Terrible experience! My company made me book this hotel for work. I drove 3.5 hours to get there and checked in around 7:30pm. Because the hotel stay was for business, my company was paying for it on their credit card. My personal card had to be used to hold the room. Upon checking in, the front desk attendant asked for my I.D. and card used to hold the room. I STRONGLY expressed that my company should have sent over their payment information and that my personal card was not to be charged. She said "ok", handed me back my cards, and told me to sign the check in sheet. As I got up to my room, I noticed a text message from my bank showing a charge to my debit card over $1000. I was floored. I went back down to the front desk to see why my card was charged. After speaking with the manager on duty, he said that my company never sent over their payment information and that it was "just a hold" on my card. JUST A HOLD?????? I don't carry any credit cards or cash. Meaning my bank account was then showing in the negative and I couldn't use it because of the hold. I was never told that my personal card was being used or that my company's info wasn't on file at the time of check in. 2 other coworkers had rooms reserved there and they had our company's payment on file for there rooms. There was no reason they shouldn't have had it for mine. I had to go 5 days without being able to use my card and did not get to eat dinner that night. Thankfully a coworker fronted me cash while I was there or I would have been really screwed. At no time did the staff act apologetic or try to make things right. All they would tell me was to see if my bank would remove the hold. Apparently this has happened many times before. Hilton customer service was just as unhelpful. I emailed my complaint and was told I would receive a call about my stay. I never got a call so I emailed them back. Received another email that someone would call me. Again, never received a call. That was the worst hotel stay of my life!!! I will never stay at a Hilton brand hotel again.

Pleasant staff, room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great, there was a huge selection of things to choose from. The thing annoying was the flashing green light on the smoke detector in our room.... it was really bright.

Staff was great, clean rooms and grounds. 2 cons i had was pool water was cloudy and the service charge that was billed to my card, when ask about the extra charges the front desk said it would be returned back to my account 3 to 7 days after checkout. Not nice not disclosing this prior and playing with other people's money. We will see if it gets returned, if not I'll post it.

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights at the Hampton Inn in Belle Vernon and overall it was a very positive stay. Only issue was we were given a smoking room and we don't smoke. It didn't smell bad for a smoking room and I was generally happy with the room overall. No refrigerator, though. Staff were very nice and workout room was nice as well.
