I love Clarks shoes. I appreciate the quality and I find the prices are fair in today's market. I shop often for the entire family and having kids means I have to do so every season. This review concerns the store located at Ridge Hill. This is the store with the worst customer service I know or I have ever experienced. It didn't happen once, it was not an accident. They are beyond rudeness. They act as if you bother them when you walk into the store or like it is a privilege they provide to you for every question they have to answer. I have heard them making comments about their customers while I was still there, checking the products. You simply do not talk about previous customers into the presence of another one. They gave me a hard time when I wanted to return a product. I had to call customer service to address this. The amount was only $30.00 but the principle of standing behind their products was worthless. Bad manners, unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the situations, gossipy and inefficient - why would you bother to walk into this place ever again? I do have the alternative to go in and choose what I need and demand the service, pay and walk away but the point is not everyone enjoys giving an attitude. They lack information and training in customer service so deeply. They are unfit to represent a company like Clarks and I really hope these reviews get to the attention of someone interested in the company's image. Their selection of displays is also pretty poorly done. I understand the internet collection is and should be larger then the store's but there is a lot of room for improvement in this area too. This is the first time I write a review and this should also make a statement. The customer service in this place it is really that bad!

Terrible customer service! I received a gift from my sister...she gifted my daughter a pair of boots. She lost her receipt... We decide to go tovthe Ridge Hill location to exchange them. My sister explains to Christopher, the cashier the problem and I tell the other sales person that it was a gift and that I told them the wrong size and she measures my daughter. I proceed to ask for the shoe we wanted to exchange and he informs us that he doesn't have it in stock. We ask him to help us find a store that has them. He looks at the computer and tells us that that they have them at the Chelsea location. We ask him to call and he cannot get an answer. He says he was sorry but that he cannot give us a refund because we do not have the receipt. We ask for the refund policy and it clearly states that we can get a store credit. He denies this and we ask him if we can get another shoe. He says, "No!" We ask him to call his supervisor and he does. Again he told us he was instructed not to honor our request. We ask for his information, we step out of the Location my sister calls him. The supervisor puts her on hold, we see from the outside that he contacted Christopher and after 12 minutes of being on hold the supervisor tells my sister that we had different stories and that he cannot honor our request. My sister and I do not look alike and we are of Latin descent, clearly Christopher felt the need to make us seem like liars and humiliated our integrity. My sister and I are appalled by the poor costumer service and will report this incident to the better business bureau as this is unacceptable! I must also add that I returned to the store and told Christopher that I did not appreciate being humiliated and told the customers to keep their receipts because without them they would be treated unfairly! I'm so upset I can't even sleep!

Employee asked everyone who walked in if they needed help but didn't ask me, all customers were white...except me. I find that very rude. Guess she assumed I didn't have money and wasn't going into the store to make a purchase.

Bought shoes for almost $450 and wanted to return 2 pairs in couple days. Found out they can't pay me the full price I paid and instead of getting $79.99 I got $59.99. Cashier Nicole refused to give me a full refund and gave me an excuse about store policy for discounted shoes and other non sense.

I have a gift card for 2 ears and i cant find any shoe that I like. Staff its helpful.
