I would rated ZERO stars if i could.this department.i was driving at 1 30 am on rt 21 with my pregnant wife in the car going to get something to eat bcs she got hungry and cravings.when i noticed that i had a car following me for no reason and opens his lights at ramp of rt 80 in paterson pulling me over claiming that my tail light was out when was not!i end up getting arrested for having outstanding warrants for not showing up in court.i understand that is my fualt for not doing that.we both got arrested me and my pregnant wife.car got towed and didnt gave us a chance to even get the house keys from the car or my wifes necklace and engagement ring.that was stolen from this two officers (Duran) and (gough)We were both in hand cuffs in the back of their cruiser while they were having fun searching my car ]without my permission or search warrants .we went to the station.my wife got released and i got hold in cell from 2 am till 9 pm without food or water or a phone call to inform my family members to bail me out.i begged for food so many times and they keept sayin that the food would be there soon from hot grill just someone has to pick it up.hours paased and keept begging for food...while someone walked right by eating a burger from HOT GRILL that supposlsy was order for inmates.they are heartless MF they even eat inmates food and leave inmates starving.21 hours with no food and no phone call...Also inmates are considered ANIMALS AND THAT IS A ZOO SHOW for them smh thats what officer welsh said that he enjoys watching animals in the cage in his monitor in his desk thru the Camera that is in the cell.i dont think this is right...they are JUST a bunch of 🐖 🐖 🐖 PIGS.i beleve in god and karma.so i let karma get to them.i never wish bad to no one.but this guys ....smh they deserve the worst.dont get me wrong they are few good guys there as well...

Called MANY, MANY times about illegally parked cars in the neighborhood. They make it difficult to make a turn onto the street when they are parked right up to and sometimes past the stop sign. Don't think the Klifton police ever bothered to show up.

I recently called about that house on Robinhood Road that has all the Halloween decorations. There were young kids walking in the street and almost got hit by a car, so I called the police department to tell them the situation. They must have them over a hundred no parking signs every Halloween for this problem. When I told them the problem they told me the police don't have time to just sit there and watch. So what's the sense of putting up signs if you're not going to take him to cars.? I guess all the places playing with their phones and can't be bothered with a hazardous situation.

My car battery died at the intersection of Allwood and Main. I was causing delays for other drivers. Two officers arrived quickly and got me to safety. Thank you so much!

My experience with the Clifton police tonight was horrible. I understand that there is a lot going on the 4th of July. I live in a residential neighborhood there were a bunch of maniacs shooting off BIG fireworks on the corner! I called 3 times got hung up on and my first call was 9:52 am it is 10:30 still no one I've lived in Clifton all my life may have called them 2'xs and never had a timely arrival. A house could of caught fire as close as they were and now who is going to clean up my neighbor hood! Very disappointed in Cliftons finest they are not!
