The CO-OP Country Store is a farm, home, & hardware store located in Ponderay, Idaho. We are in our 80th year of operation as a cooperative. Anyone can be come a member simply by opening a cash or credit account at the store. This account allows the owner to receive dividends in profitable years.
It also exposes the owner to great pricing on thousands of items for farm and home.

We have been trading with COOP for over 23 years. Customer service has become like being served by your best friend. I have built outbuildings, fences, raised sheep, cattle, goats and even a 4h Hamster...and never once have they not had what we needed, or if they didn't have it they got it within a week. The store layout is perfect...and the yard and the back area storage is so well organized that when you have the "lay of the land" your shopping (which I don't shop...I buy..I am a farm kid), is perfect. Prices are very competitive. I remember when North 40 came on the block. They beat COOP with clothing an accessories, but couldn't beat the pricing, customer service or the farm/home necessities. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

My family has been coming here for a long time the service has always been average at best. However we will no longer be shopping there due to a recent issue. I advise not buying any clothing there unless you know before you purchase it that it is adequate in every way. If you are not satisfied with you're purchase then good luck returning it and have fun dealing with their customer "service." I will never recommend their merchandise or services to anyone again.

These guys have everything, and they're a Sandpoint institution! If you need something, the Co-op almost certainly has it. When you shop with them, you are shopping LOCALLY, supporting this economy and not the one where that big-box store has its headquarters. If you're in the need for anything from housewares to feed to tools to gardening supplies to tack to candy, go see them: you'll love it! While anyone can shop at the Co-op, don't forget to become a Co-op member: you can earn dividends!

Worst customer service. Does not back up their products. Returns are impossible. Do not recommend
