At Coastal Kids Dental & Braces, we're dedicated to giving every patient a healthy adult smile. We treat children from birth to young adulthood and individuals with special needs. We offer a variety of clinical services to provide a healthy smile to each patient! We are family owned and operated and are proud Charleston residents!

We just left my daughter's first appointment. She is 13 months old, so we took advantage of their free first visit offer. She did cry during the examination, but overall I'm very happy with the visit. I completed the paperwork online, so check-in took less than five minutes. While we waited, one of the staff members came from behind the counter and kneeled to get on my daughter's eye level to greet her. Soon after the hygienist called us into a private room and talked with us. She explained what would happen and allowed my daughter to sit on my lap and lean back into her lap for the cleaning. The dentist used the same procedure, and although my daughter cried I know it would have been worse if they made her sit in a chair. The staff, hygienist and dentist were friendly, competent, informative without being condescending and thoughtful. I look forward to returning for our next appointment.

I only bring my children here, they have an amazing staff! Ibwouldnt takebmy kids anywhere else!!!

BaKari was so afraid of visiting a dentist.  I met a nurse from Coastal Kids at our school's career fair.  She offered to have him come for a tour first, then schedule his appointment before leaving; that worked out fine.  BaKari is no longer afraid, his first visit made us realize we should have started much sooner.  BaKari needed so much work done, nevertheless, he was made comfortable and all went well.  Coastal Kids has a pleasant and supportive staff with a kid friendly atmosphere.

My son had a great experience for his first dentist visit. Everyone was very friendly! my son Nathan was comfortable and enjoyed everything about the place. Nathan wasn't cooperative with the X-ray so we scheduled a visit for the future to try again. But I would definitely recommend anyone to go here.
