The service was excellent at first. Even ordered two cupcakes to go, but after the initial transaction spoke to one of their associates about a future order. After showing the associate a simple design, that my girlfriend considered to receive on the cupcakes for an upcoming event. We were taken back by the rude answer that we received from not 1 but 3 of the associates in the establishment. On their site it specifies that they do customizations to the orders, instead of giving us options or trying to work with us. We were given, "Oh, No! Sorry we don't do that". Sad to say, the order we had in mind will be taken to another establishment.

We discovered Cocoa Bakery through some friends two summers ago and we love it! They have the best cake truffles (perfectly moist!), vegan cupcakes (I wouldn't have guessed they were vegan!), biscotti and iced coffee. The bakery itself is small without being a shoebox- there is indoor and outdoor seating, and they have some toys and crayons to keep the little ones busy. Bonus tip to parents - be prepared to fold and carry your stroller down a few steps or leave it outside.

Cake truffles are a great size to share and to try all the different flavors. Amaya (apologies if misspelled) even took the time to write the flavor down for each one individually!

This is a little gem tucked away in jersey city. The owner is super nice and everyone is laid back. Some people complained about them not being fast enough, just call in ahead of time. It's that simple if you are in a rush. They do assortments and are pretty good about choices.

I love their cupcakes and cakes! The small cozy shop is my weekend go-to place. The price is reasonable in this area. I hope they keep in this way..
