Great State Park to visit all year around! Bring comfortable shoes and please NO SANDALS unless covered front toes! Lots of rocks and walking trails plus off-road. Bring a drone if you have one to take amazing pictures of mountains and wildlife. BRING PLENTY OF FOOD AND WATER,specially for kiddies and seniors. AND there's plenty of bathrooms!!

How do you review a National Forest? "It's way better than that garbage Coronado National Forest!" It is however the home of the vast forgotten beauty of Arizona. The state isn't just desert. There's some of the most beautiful evergreen forests anywhere!

This is one of the best forests I've been to all year! I mean, the trees! The dirt! I cant believe how much time was spent on just having everything look so authentic, from the artisan made bushes, to the deer poop of the side of the road. Such a fantastic place, I may never forget where I was.... Especially because I just reviewed a piece of the state. A random piece of the state.

We hiked the Harding trail across from the Cave Springs campground in the Oak Creek Canyon. Trail is challenging as it travels up the side of the canyon at a steep incline with switchbacks at the top. Great panoramic views from the summit. Good hike for summer as is shady the whole trail.

It's the forest, what is there to not like. Generally clean campgrounds, decent hiking, nice clean air to breathe. Perfect getaway from the city and not so far that anything is really going to be that big an issue. Been camping here since I was little, some great memories of there.
