We loved it... The dinosaurs had the kids when we pulled in. The pond was really pretty, they got to fish and kayak which helped keep them happy for the weekend. The pool is in a screen enclosure which we enjoyed. The wild life is also very abundant. Hope to come back again soon :)

We camped here when we went to visit Weeki Wachee State Park, because it is close by. My kids LOVED it because included with the price of camping (which was a lower price than most other camping we've done), they have canoes and kayaks that you can use to paddle around their little lake. When we were there it wasn't busy at all, so we spent several hours on the lake, and my 9-year-old even got to do a kayak herself. Our kids have been asking to go back ever since. They also had hiking trails out behind the place that we took a short walk on, and wished we had more time. I would definitely visit here again. Is it the fanciest campground in the world? Nope. But for the price, and the fun things to do, it's more than worth it. Also, don't be fooled by the name...we camped in a tent! They have both here, and our tent spot included electricity.

We stayed here over memorial day weekend. The owners were very friendly and helpful,  even staying up for our unexpectedly very late arrival. The campsite was great, right on the pond and with lots of extras. We took the available kayaks out on the pond, and the are other activities as well. Only 2 bathrooms but they are immaculate and comfortable. Nice showers. Met a lot of very friendly people. The location is convenient to Weeki Wachee Springs, Pine Island,  and plenty of stores. Would definitely camp here again!

We camped here in our 38ft pusher w/3 slides, to take our kids to visit Weeki Wachee State Park.  Planned on 2 nights.  When we pulled in the owner met us and completed the registration paperwork in minutes.  Then he drove his golf cart and lead us right to our spot.  The park is nice and the owner has updated the laundry room and bathrooms.  The WiFi worked great.  After the spings we decided to leave in the morning and not stay 2 days since the kids wanted to go to a water park in Tampa.  I advised the owner and he simply refunded one day.  Honest well run place.

We received so many visits from the employees making sure we are ok I have not been at another campground that ever done this before. They have this great deal $10 that will bring a fire ring and fire wood to your campsite. One of the times they came to check on us I said yes. Still plenty of day light left and the owner came by and said he was sorry the firewood was not dropped off yet. Said no problem. My wife was walking back from  throwing some garbage away and a other worker said he was sorry for the deal of the firewood delivery. The fire wood was delivered with plenty of daylight left. They came back around dusk to make sure I was able to get the fire going and dropped off more kindling in case they didn't drop off enough before. My son 11 is a boy scout so I let him start the fire so he could learn how to do it. I sat on my but and gave instructions and he got the fire going with no problems. I will camp here again. With out a second thought. We are tent camping in the middle.of summer in Florida
