Coffee Mill is located in Boise's Barber Valley and provides gourmet coffee, delicious pastries, a variety of sandwiches, and a wonderful atmosphere.
Coffee Mill is a locally owned and operated coffee shop, founded by Steve Tracy and family. After starting the Ranch Market convenience store in late 2014, Steve quickly realized that many customers wanted a place to sit and chat while having coffee, but also to have the option to get their drinks via drive through. In 2016, the timing was right, and the lot was purchased. The idea for the Coffee Mill grew from there. We are proud to be serving Caffe Vita coffee from Seattle. This is a gourmet, delicious coffee that we are so excited to bring to Boise. We are thrilled to be partnering with Gaston's Bakery, also a local Boise company, to serve their incredible pastries. Breakfast sandwiches and burritos, oatmeal, lunch sandwiches, salads, and more will be made and served on-site. One of the things expressed by neighbors often was the desire to have a place to go in the evenings, so Coffee Mill will also serve beer and wine and small appetizer plates in the evening. Also, adequate indoor and outdoor seating is a priority here. To be able to enjoy scenic Barber Valley, with easy access to and from the Greenbelt was imperative. At the same time, ease of getting a coffee while on the way to work or with a car full of kids, needed to be met, so a drive-through was thoughtfully placed. As a family owned business, and being a family who lives within Barber Valley, we are thoroughly involved in the day to day process. You will see both Steve and Courtney working at the store (and their three kids coming and going), and we welcome your feedback as to how we can continue to meet the needs and wants of this great valley.
