Colletti’s is the only family owned Italian restaurant in Harlingen and is located in the historic The Reese, downtown.

I've been here twice. Both times have been wonderful. Even when my wife and I went on Valentine's day and they were busy, our server was attentive and extremely kind. Not just our server, other servers were smiling and engaging their customers. 
Now onto the food. I love Italian food, but I'm very simple in taste so I got the lasagna both times, and it is ridiculously good. The bread was wonderful and if you get the chance, try the meatballs. So good. I highly recommend this place. Also the interior is amazing. They also have outside dining which in my opinion is lovely

Lovely building with a charming outdoor patio.  Nice indoor bar area.  Live music outside every Friday and Saturday.    This is a great place for a romantic dinner for two or, to meet with friends and colleagues.  The appetizers were adequately priced, large portions, good variety and tasted great.  There were four of us out for dinner we each tried a different entree and all were very good with large portions.  They have a drink special every evening and the wine was adequately priced.  If I had to change anything I would like to have seen live music in door on a Thursday evening. We had a unanimous vote that we will revisit Colletti's again.

Great place for date night. Food is great and the setting is so romantic. Flowers on each table, low lighting and lanterns on the walls really speak volumes for the decor. Best to get there early as it does tend to get packed on some nights. They do offer live music on the patio area on some nights which is lovely. This is the go to place if you want to treat someone to a romantic evening dinner.

I was in a party of eight adults eating at 6pm last night (Thursday). It was very slow, got right in. I'm rating this restaurant 3 stars due to our experience. One friend order a Caesar salad but received a regular house salad. The drink and wine selection was lacking. The biggest issue was with my meal. I ordered a 12 inch pan pizza and the others got pasta dishes which they all agreed that they were very delicious. The problem was that they brought my food 15 minutes after the others in the party. I sat and watch them all eat. I asked our waiter twice for my food. He said it's still in the oven. Later, the owner came by to ask us how we were doing. She saw that I wasn't eating and checked on the pizza. I finally received my pizza and it wasn't a pan pizza. It was a thin crust. She apologized and took it off the bill and said the pizza cook was new. The pizza was terrible, others with me tried it and agreed.
It literally had no sauce on it, just the toppings!

Harlingen's Only True Fine Dining Restaurant.  The menu is adequate and the brick oven pizza is very good and a pleasant surprise in the setting. The dinner food quality, especially the marinara, has improved since opening.  I would give it a four stars except the service is really uneven, never good, and sometimes awful.  Getting bar drinks (especially the second round) and the final check has always been and continues to be an ordeal and ruins an otherwise nice dining experience.
