Took our staff to go try this place out. I had 1/2# of moist brisket, 1 pork rib, and 1 beef short rib, and 1 sausage. Brisket was almost two pencil widths. Couldn't be cut any smaller because it was falling apart I saw the guy cutting it. Pork rib was dry and bone fell right out. 1 pork rib a the top,(photo) it look like it should have been two actually 1 bone was missing. Flavor was not good at all.  One beef rib it was not totally rendered down and it was tough and stringy.  sausage that i ate was cold or not totally cook through.  Skin had no snap it was tough and chewy. Same thing my coworker said. One of them had Potato salad said it only had  Mustard and mayo that's it. had no flavor. They said the sandwiches  were OK pork and brisket sandwich. Four of us and it was quite pricey..  That's just my review.....

So I wanted to try this place because it is rumored to be very good,  and it must be because the manager told me that the line was so long I shouldn't even bother coming by to place a to go order.  When I first called I wasn't mad but now I kinda am.  I mean shouldn't they at least try to accommodate a potential customer?  The manager didn't even try to suggest other food choices he just seemed interested in getting rid of me. I understand y'all are busy but at least try a little.

Excellent place to eat! The staff was polite and attentive. Plus, the food is phenomenal! The brisket was juicy and full of flavor, even without the sauce. A definite place to recommend!

Really cool place just what the area needed it could just be so much more. I will admit I am a total BBQ snob from central Texas so standards are really hi. Food was just ok sauce was the best part☹ ordered the brisket which was good just wanted more flavor also got the sausage really good but tasted store bought. Also had the chicken was not good no flavor and skin was wet weird. Had the beans those were great. Your down fall will be your bar tender he was horrible and didn't know his beer and had to pull teeth to get a beer I will be back just not for the beer want to try at lunch no matter what cool place for the area

This place was super good place and some of the best bbq!! We got some great brisket and turkey sandwich. The half chicken is pretty big! The sides were decent size for medium fed the family and had left over. The drinks are 2$ and the sweat tea was very good! I love way its no plates because reminds on the ranch and all we have was napkins. I love the environment of this place because it has rustic look with Harlingen memories.
