Story

The foundation of any authentic success is integrity, a principle that guides Dr. Tyler Angelos in both his professional and personal life. As a surgeon, he strives to create a comfortable atmosphere based on mutual respect and trust between patient and physician. Each patient is treated as an individual whose needs are met with compassion and expertise while maintaining a firm standard of excellence in all surgical and non-invasive procedures.

A native of central Ohio, Dr. Angelos graduated from Upper Arlington High School. He served a two-year humanitarian mission in Honduras and is fluent in Spanish. His primary commitments have always been family, faith and community – commitments that were forged by the many examples of local mentors. Dr. Angelos is grateful, along with his wife Deborah, to raise their three children in the city he calls home.

Dr. Angelos is dedicated to innovative research and developments in the field of plastic surgery. He is the author of numerous articles in leading plastic surgery journals as well as a contributor to widely used surgical textbooks. He has presented his research at multiple national conferences.

In addition to providing the full scope of plastic and reconstructive procedures including aesthetic surgery of the face (facelift, eyelid surgery, laser treatments), breasts (breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift), and body (liposuction, abdominoplasty), Dr. Angelos has a particular specialty in body contouring procedures following weight loss.

Education
Dr. Angelos graduated #1 in his class from Wright State University School of Medicine. He then completed a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University where he received extensive training in all forms of general surgery, reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery. He served as chief resident for two years and won the International Resident Academic Bowl at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons conference. Throughout his education and training, Dr. Angelos has received many other awards and recognitions:

• Inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and elected President of his local chapter.

• Inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society recognizing professionals who exemplify compassion, integrity and excellence in the medical field.

• Recipient of over 15 scholarships and awards, including the Silver Scalpel award for the most outstanding student in surgery and the Dean’s award for exceptional academic achievement and exemplary performance.
