I love Columbus Square Bowling Palace. They're open 24 hours which is totally awesome. The food is decent. They do have a bar. The staff is also friendly which is definitely a plus. I would suggest this place for a party or group or a date or even alone. The lanes are never too dry or too oily. Oh, and they have a excellent really early weekender deal!

There are tons of lanes and we always have fun at the palace. The staff is helpful, and the weekday deal is a great deal if you want to have some fun for a reasonable price. The bar has decent selections as well for reasonable prices.

The Palace has wonderful service, great food, and a management team that truly cares about keeping this place clean and safe. It is my favorite bowling center in Ohio because of all of the space for your equipment. I love coming here. I'd like to also thank manager, Julie Wells, for everything she's done, too!

The Palace is in need of an overhaul for sure. Now i know it's a bowling alley but this was the place to go when i was younger. Renovate this place and make it presentable. The ceiling tiles look like they have been up there since smoking allowed inside businesses. I expect better from here.

Bowling Palace is an awesome place with great lanes, knowledgeable staff, the best hours in the business, and great pricing. Given my work schedule, this place is the only place that I can get any practice time in. There hours are awesome, and the prices are definitely affordable. There's no way I'd be able to bowl 4 or 5 days a week and be to afford it anywhere else. The few bad reviews that I have read seem to center on mechanical issues (ball not returning, etc), and staff response to the those issues, most certainly don't line up with my experiences. When there is a mechanical issuethey address it promptly, and if it continues, they move you to another lane so they don't interrupt your bowling experience. I have bowled at other facilities, and I can attest that the Palace is far better. I joined a league last year as a fill-in for someone at AMF Sawmill lanes and I am hooked. Bowling Palace is far better on all accounts - The best hours (24/7) - Inexpensive, ideal for families - Staff has tremendous bowling knowledge - Oil conditions are consistent regardless time of day - Staff is awesome - Mechanical issues addressed PROMPTLY - Takes 45- 90 seconds at counter AMF Sawill - Hours in-consistent, opening at 9, or, 10, or 11, or 12, or 3 depending on day of the week - EXPENSIVE - Staff has NO bowling knowledge - Oil conditions so inconsistent that you can't practice - Staff is rude on occasion - Literally takes 5 to 15 minutes to ring you in at the counter. If there's 2-3 people in front of you, it will literally take 20 minutes. RIDICULOUS - Mechanical issues are a problem because there's only 1 person at the counter, and because it takes so long to ring someone up that there's always a huge line and you can't get their attention If I have one complaint, its not unique to the Bowling Palace. Its with the tournaments. If there is a tournament, you can't bowl. We've all been turned away from different bowling facilities when there are leagues going. The Palace will allow you to bowl as long as there are open lanes during leagues. But, not so with tournaments. I have been turned away from here as well as every other facility when there is a tournament. Its tough to drive 20 miles, and get turned away. Especially when you see that more than half of the lanes aren't being used at all. When you ask why you can't bowl when clearly the tournament is using less than half of the lanes, the answer is that they have to in case the lanes break down. Out of all the complaints about bowling, being turned away because of leagues or tournaments is the biggest turn off to everyone that I talk to regarding it. At a time when bowling is struggling in USBC and ABC membership, it would seem like they would find a way to do what they could to encourage participation. However, that's not a reflection on the Palace, even if they are the ones that will suffer, because the non-league / non-tourney bowlers don't know that.
