The hotel staff was nonexistent on the Sunday morning of our stay. At 7:30 AM, the coffee pot was completely empty, the waffle maker batter was empty, the fresh fruit was completely gone, the muffins and bagels were down to 4 left, and the milk was 1 day expired in the cooler. We couldn't find any hotel staff to share our problems with. I noticed a stack of Hotel keys on the front desk, probably from people checking out with nobody at the front desk. I felt bad picking this place for my family and wouldn't come here again.

Edit. I was contacted by hotel staff directly and happy with the customer service.

Called the front from 6:30a until I finally got an answer at 10:30a bathroom tub stopped up while I was showering. Ordered extra towels and was told that there was none washed. She had to find me some. Staff is loud as hell!!!!!!! Lousy variety of breakfast foods. Need to make it healthier.  I will strongly try not to come back.

It's an okay hotel for the cost. Nothing horrible, bed was comfortable, the staff was good, for the cost that is all I'd expect. The artwork in the room was odd to say the best, who ever hung them followed the spec without asking questions or using reason. Pictures were hung in awkward positions, 6" from the ceiling, behind doors, etc. For what the room cost it was okay, if you're expecting more than the $100/night cost you'd be let down.

This place is very run down. It needs lots of maintenance attention. Electrical outlets were loose in the boxes. The shower didn't drain properly and the shower head was terrible. Not much of a breakfast, food wasn't restocked and the kitchen was filthy. Trash everywhere and counters weren't clean. Not worth the money. This should be a motel 6, not a comfort suites....

Relatives stayed here while in town to visit us, and when we visited them at this location the room was clean, the desk clerk was really friendly, and it's a convenient location near downtown and both the WMU and Kalamazoo College campuses.
