I've stayed at this hotel about 8 different times because it always has vacancy and is the cheapest in the area. It is not a nice hotel, but the beds aren't bad and I've not had any problems with the heater or plumbing. Technically that's all you really need in a cheap hotel. As a bonus, the staff that works in the lobby has always been helpful and friendly and I've never really felt unsafe here. But: -The room will smell like either cigarette smoke, or the powerful cleaning solution they use to cover up cigarette smell. -You'll have a 35% chance of noisy neighbors or loud people in the parking lot at night. -There will be maintenance issues. Lights that don't work. Missing TV remote. Your key card is very likely to fail. -The housekeeping isn't top notch but they get the job done.

Great hotel for people coming from other country to stay several day before take an apartment in Kalamazoo. I stayed in this Hotel for 2 nights before I can move to the apartment. The price is not too expensive. The room is quiet. Heater is available. Not too far from bus shelter and groceries.

Some how the maid forgot to sweep the floor, clean sink and sanitize the bathroom. Toilet had a ring and the bath tub was probably rinsed out. Cheap towels and bad smell. Liked that they had a refrigerator, microwave and safe. Won't ever stay in one again. Really clean it up Red Roof!!!

I visited here during a work meeting and it was your average budget inn. The free breakfast is very nice. Slept very comfortably!

Very affordable rooms and a nice central location near the highway made it easy to check in and get to places around town. U would probably check in here again if I ever need a hotel in Kalamazoo again.
