Best comic store for miles. Back issues cover price! More independent Comix Experience than any other store in CA . County. Good staff. Free bag and board with any purchase. Great place to meet chicks. Okay that last part is crap. It's a comic book shop, what do you expect?.

I love the TV series "The Walking Dead" so I stopped here to check out the "Walking Dead" comic books.  They have a good selection of them from the earlier ones thru the most current.  The shop was very well maintained and organized.  It's small but packed with all kinds of comic books and animated figurines of various comic book characters.   The clerk working was friendly and welcoming.

My #1 favorite comic shop in the city. Not only do they have a very large range of comics, but they will order anything they don't have. There are a lot of women on staff, which is a welcome thing in a comic book shop -- a lot of places still are not sure how to include women and make their female customers comfortable, but Comix never has that problem.

 I also have been really enjoying their Graphic Novel of the Month Club -- for $25 a month (or $220 for the whole year) you get a GN chosen by the staff, and are invited to either an in-person or skype interview with the creator(s), as well as a signed bookplate. It's pretty amazing, and 100% worth the money. They also have signings throughout the year with various creators. 

I love this place and have been coming for years, and will continue for many more.

An excellent local comic book store that has a decent subscription service and (limited, but decent) back ordering capabilities and a good selection of back issues. The owner is a conscientious fellow and has written a couple of books on the comic book industry that display a rare insight into a curious, unique, niche market. 
  
Worth a visit if you're a local or just passing through!
