Very large selection of new and used books on so many subjects, at great prices. Almost all of the used books that I've bought or looked at were in decent to better condition and cost less than $10. One could spend hours going through the library and leaving without at least one new book is difficult to imagine.

I actually really like this place. It seems they kind of nestled and a really peaceful area and has a really great selection. I got a few movies for my son that he had been looking for and had a hard time finding. The prices here are really reasonable too.

Incredible selection of new and used adult and children's books on two levels. You can easily lose track of time here looking through the books and accessories. Would definitely recommend for families.

Great selection of books and best customer service. Warning: If you love books, do not enter this store if you have other things on your "to do" list that day. I am frequently advised, "Uh oh.....step away from that bookstore..." I've been to The Strand and Powell's. I'll always prefer Green Apple. It's a heavenly time warp.

If a bookworm died they'd be sent to rest in peace for eternity at Green Apple Books. Things are as they should be here, with limited walking space and as much retail as can still be fire-code-approved filled with bookshelves and books. They sell new and used books, but had a particularly strong offering of books signed by the author. I picked up Artemis signed by Andy Weir as part of my holiday shopping. The staff is knowledge and outgoing. At the Clement St location they have separated out general fiction and comics/music into two different buildings on the same block, giving the one a more classic cozy feel and the other made a geek culture rabbit hole. Both spaces are well worth the visit.
