Story

We would like to extend a warm welcome on behalf of all of our hospital staff. We have enjoyed caring for pets in the Eagan, Minnesota area since 1991. Our full-service veterinary hospital is equipped with modern surgery, radiology, pharmacy, laboratory and dental facilities. As partners in your pet’s care, we are here to answer any questions you may have concerning your pet’s health. We also offer professional pet grooming to keep your pet feeling and looking great! Our boarding and daycare services provides indoor runs and a large outdoor fenced play yard for a comfortable home away from home. We look forward to working with you to ensure a happy, healthy life for your special companion!

Excellent animal hospital,  with amazing Veterinarians who care for your pet as if they're their own.  My family has been bringing our pets for 8 years.  Our cats and dogs have stayed in the boarding facility multiple times,  and we've been pleased with how well they care for the animals.  Their doggie day care is also a nice option.  
In addition, they have an excellent groomer (Allison), and very friendly receptionists.  
Overall, I would personally recommend this place to everybody as I would not take my furbabies to any other facility.

I take my cat here for his check-ups and other veterinary needs.  This office is very clean, organized and comfortable.  The staff is very compassionate and you get the feeling everyone here loves animals.  I would definitely recommend this office for your cat or dog.

Best vets, groomer, techs, and office help for my 5 pets.  I respect the medical skills and gentle care for my 3 Standard Poodles and 2 tabby cats. Staff work well with other facilities, such as weekend Emergency Care, so there is a smooth transition between the places we need.  Groomer does beautiful work on my 3 standard poodles.  Office staff are pleasant and helpful.  I would not think of going elsewhere for primary care.

Vets are compassionate and professional, I will never take my pets anywhere else. They provide excellent service and truly care for their furry patients.

We took our dog to Companion Animal Hospital for 13 years.  I always felt they were trying to up-charge and the vets clearly do not read the pet report/notes prior to entering the room to treat ones animal.  For example, once we brought our dog in, they did a ton of tests, prescribed medication and told us to return in a week if things didn't improve.  A week later we returned, explained the situation and the vet prescribed the exact same tests done the week before -- until I brought it to her attention.  

Last month we brought our dog to Companion Animal Hospital after he was sick for two days.  My husband spent more than two hours at the office while they ran numerous tests.  Ultimately, they treated our dog for pneumonia.  Two hours later, our dog passed.  Companion Animal Hospital had nothing to do with his passing, however, the following morning my husband called the hospital to inform them and inquire about cremation arrangements.  The gal at the front desk took down the information and informed the vet - the same vet that treated our dog 12 hours earlier.  We never heard word one from the vet/owner.   We did hear from the gal at the front desk asking if we wanted to go forward using their cremation services which they get a cut from. We chose to pass and used another service in Edina.  I found their lack of empathy to be poor customer service, bedside manner or whatever you want to call it.  I was deeply hurt by their actions (or lack of) and it seems they are in this business clearly for financial reasons.

We now we have a new puppy and a new vet.
