Awful place. Needs a major overhaul. Dog space was part wild weeds and part trash dump. Thorns and sharp rocks covered the area. A dead rat in the space assigned to us. Mostly long term renters.

First, we called on a Saturday morning to let them know about our reservation change from Sunday to Monday. They had an answering machine in which my husband left 2 messages and then they charged is for the night stating we didn't notify them. Once we arrived on Monday, they wouldn't take us due to the breed of our dog. This I could understand, particularly since we did not have the dog when the reservation was made; however, the owner's suggestion for a solution was to either take him to the pound or out to the desert with a 45!

We came from Iowa and was very tired when we arrived. We rented a lot for a week then seen that they rent by the month there. When I went to rent for a month I was told that my fifth wheel camper was to old for monthly renting. We paid 240 a week there and was told we could rent by the week only due to the age of camper (monthly 350) but we could stay at 240 a week. Now the people running the place was VERY nice. Although our camper was older than 2005 it is in complete functioning condition and felt very discriminated against because of this.

Pros and cons, mostly pro. Folks here seem friendly. Mostly seniors. Several camping areas. Some sites cost considerably more than others. Older resort with some issues yet kept up neatly. As Thousand Trails members we've seen more luxury. But the maintenance staff here are most helpful if you do have issues. The rates are higher in Spring. The pool and spa are closed until June. There is an activities room, store, propane, fitness area with some equipment and the best thing it's close to great stores, restaurants and casino. Except for freeway noise, it's pretty quiet and peaceful here.
