Not at all crowded since it’s December. Very pleasant and peaceful to walk along the beach with a brisk, cool wind and splashing of water. Beautiful setting with snow capped peaks in the horizon and tall pine trees everywhere. Worth a visit even in winter. I’m sure this place is rocking during summer.

This is where you want to be if your planning to swim in south lake tahoe. Water is clear compared to most beachs in the area! The beach and the toilettes are clean and the place is quiet and not too packed.

This place is really nice. Picnic tables and grills at the edge of the beach. In the summer they have a little ice cream shack near by in the campground area too. It's busy here during peak season but slows down after Labor Day.

Beautiful, clean and lots of parking, although it can get crowded in the height of summer. The sand at Nevada Beach is a bit nicer than that at Zephyr Cove; softer and less gravelly. I wouldn't recommend going here on the Fourth of July or any other holiday weekend -- the lines for parking stretched wayyyyy down the road and the one time I made the mistake of trying to spend my Fourth here, I spent more time in the hot car trying to get a space than I did at the water.

beautiful view of ALL of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, dog friendly, overnight camping, excellent management, nervy to Edgewood Golf Course..
