Story

We are a specialty retailer currently operating more than 90 retail locations in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. We feature a wide range of products from home electronics, appliances and computers, to furniture, mattresses, and smartphones.

We sell home appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers and ranges, and a variety of consumer electronics, including LCD, LED, 4K, 3D and Ultra HD televisions, tablets, computers and computer accessories, Blu-ray and DVD players, and home theater products. We also sell furniture and mattresses, including furniture and related accessories for the living room, dining room and bedroom, as well as both traditional and specialty mattresses. We continue to introduce additional product categories for the home to help respond to our customers' product needs.

My in store purchase was great back in May 2017 when I had purchased a stove, fridge, and freezer. On December 4th I had called to have service done on my fridge because its not staying cold. They told me a tech will call me within 24 hours. 24 hours came and I had to call back to find out the woman never put work order in. Then I was told somebody would be calling me to set up time for a tech to come out. I got the call on Thursday and was told tech would be calling me Friday morning. Never got the call. This morning I call and she stated that it was rescheduled from Friday to Saturday and doesn't know why. Then tells me tech called me Saturday with a 346 area cold. I received no call. I answer all my calls due to work. Now they are telling me I have to go another week with no fridge. If I don't get service today, Conn's will be receiving the appliance back. NO food, no drinks to keep cold. This is unheard of!!

I had a great in store experience. Both sales persons were great (Dee and Harvey)! But the delivery was horrible. We were supposed to get our furniture table and fridge on 9/4 but didn't end up getting everything completely until 9/8. The furniture had a few marks on them as well. I was also to be contacted by a manager days ago regarding the incidents with delivery and still not yet contacted.

When my washer,dryer, and refrigerator were delivered I was not home, my wife was. I was told by her that the install tech did not install the water line to our refrigerator. There was a refrigerator removed from our residence, so there is definitely a water line to hook it up to, yet this was not done. That being said, now my refrigerator makes loud buzzing noises, among other noises that do not sound good. You can hear it attempt to fill up with water, you can hear the ice machine gears grinding, all without water. This can not be good for the internal equipment. I have a follow up scheduled for tomorrow, so we will see how this is resolved. At this point i have a 1000 dollar brand new refrigerator that sounds like the internal components are damaged. Not happy

Washing dishes by hand while looking at my brand new dishwasher that DOES NOT WORK. I bought three appliances in June and when they left after the dishwasher install it did not work. It appeared to start and go through the cycle but their is no water coming through at all. I called that day to report the problem and after over a week and several phone calls they sent another delivery team (not a service team) to our house to try and install it again. That delivery team said the dishwasher needed to be replaced and I should have a phone call with a new delivery time. This was over a week ago and after speaking with more people and a manager of this store I still have not had a phone call or a solution to this problem. The dishwasher has never worked since they brought it to the house. The manager at this store does not have a way to speak to anyone that can actually solve this issue other than sending an email requesting service. I understand there is a process he has to go through but the fact that he can't pick up the phone when there is a major issue and get a person on the phone to solve said issue is not the proper way to run your business in my mind. These emails either go in a spam filter somewhere or are delivered to someone that does not need to reply to them to keep their job because it has never been answered nor is it a priority to anyone involved. It was delivered and installed over three weeks ago and has NEVER worked. When we call to try and find out what is going on they are still "waiting on a response" and do not have an answer or any kind of solution as to how or if this will ever be resolved. I am beyond frustrated and now stuck with a brand new, never been used because it has never worked dishwasher that I have to pay over $400 for because it is on my new Conn's credit card that will NEVER be used again which is really upsetting as I was actually planning on purchasing a larger TV as well. Do not purchase from this store if you expect to have any service after the delivery. I now have a $400 dishwasher (that does not include the $120 installation fee or taxes) that does not work and they took the previous one we had that did work and you can not get anyone that can actually approve the replacement to reply or contact you. I am actually shocked at how little anyone seems to care after we purchased three major appliances at the same time. I thought someone would want to make this right so when we needed to purchase something else we would want to go to Conn's. That has been the farthest from the truth. I would not suggest making any large purchase from this store as unfortunately they do not run the business as stated in the ads on the "service you deserve".

I was very upset that I received a letter in the mail saying that I was PRE-APPROVED for $2,000 more credit and coupon for 10% off PLUS 0% APR for 12 months. NONE OF THAT WAS TRUE! After picking out the appliances, the approval was for only $800 at 21% Interest, the 10% off is ONLY for full priced items. If you don't want to pay for delivery, you have to drive all the way to DALLAS, TX to pick up your purchase - even though I bought the appliances from the store in Oklahoma City, OK! If that wasn't bad enough, I wanted the new appliances delivered to my new residence. Should be easy enough, but since the mailing address they used for the loan approval was my office address - where I get all my mail, when they tried to change the delivery address - I WAS DENIED the horrible financing! Ultimately, I paid cash for the appliances. The whole process that should have taken 30 minutes or less took over 2.5 hours and a lot of frustration!
