The two times I've been here I had pleasant experiences. The guy that took my pic for license renewal a few years ago was funny and had a great personality. He was joking around then complimented my pic. By far this one is 10x better than Waterbury and Danbury ones. I have Intent to use this one from now on.

We showed up at 11:15am. Got in line to get a number. Waited 3 hrs to get a license renewal after that. When we checked the wait time on line it said 1.25 hrs. When we arrived the woman said "you should have checked on line our wait time is now 1.5 hrs" We DID!! then waited 3 hrs. The wait time on line is inaccurate - double whatever it says!

Very helpful once I got through the information line and got a number and finally got called I was there four hours total, the woman helping me was friendly and knowledgeable I know I've had some bad situations also with DMV, Waterbury had at least a 40 or more person wait outside the building not counting everybody that was in there already

I would highly recommend this dmv to anyone! They go out of their way to really help you and not just dismiss you if you don’t have the correct documentation for what you’re trying to accomplish. I drive here from Waterbury just to deal with the more pleasant people (customers and employees) The security guard welcomed the early crowd in from the cold and was very nice. Kristie helped me with a registration issue I have been dealing with for about 4 months and went as far as to call the Weathersfield dmv to help me out. Treat them with respect and they will treat you respect as well. We should all live our lives like that every day not just at the DMV!!!
