I have called time again and again, but it seems that nobody is manning the phone.  Also, phone numbers that I have of previous consulate or embassy officers I spoke to are completely dead now.  It's the same kind of horrid Malaysian couldn't care less attitude they brought from Malaysia.  Take a look at what the US and Malaysia's neighbor to our south, Singapore, are doing, and you will know what good customer service is like.  It is always a pain dealing with Malaysian civil servants no matter where they are.

I came to renew my passport. I downloaded all the necessary forms and completed them before I came. 

a) The whole process took less than an hour. 
b) Staff was friendly and courteous.
c) The consulate itself is near many restaurants. You don't have to worry about what to do while your passport is being processed.

Very fast service to receive a visa. They kept true to their 2 days turn around. They received my passport on Monday and I got it back on Thursday with my visa. Thank you!
