Pleasant Experience. The security was helpful, the staff was informative. If you make an appointment and if you are there on time and if you take all your paper work then there should be no problems. I also recommend having your paperwork up to date including identification cards. Entrance is on the right side of the building. Parking is $15.

Totally true, as a Mexican you think you will get the help from them but no, they treat you like it's your fault you came here as a child and you have no documents from Mexico. I had to go back 4 times because they would not accept non of my identifications I had from Mexico because they were too old, by the time we were not able to get the CA driver license. And it was not easy to get an ID unless you get it from MacArthur Park. The way they work is the typical Mexico style, they treat you like you're begging for money. I'm very disappointed at this office. Every single visit it was a full disappointment. I see any Central American consulate treat and help their people better than this Mexican consulate.

The worst service I've ever experienced in a Mexican institution, it is really an extension of Mexico in the US, its unbelievable how poor and inefficient the service is, how the employees are wasting time doing nothing, the consul gets to the office almost at 10am and we are waiting and waiting since 7am just looking how they serve their coffee and get together to talk about concerts or socialize, I agree with a previous user comments, sons and daughters of daddy that dont have any idea of service to the people in need, its like we are asking things for free, we pay them with our taxes, they are our employees. So sad that our families in the US need to suffer from this.

I been doing my appointment for 1 hour!!! The website is horrible and it doesn't have a help option. I called and they made me wait for an hour. I just can believe it!! So unprofessional they are here not in Mexico. Everybody deserves some respect we are not getting nothing for free. 😕 if you need to raise the prices do it!!! It would be worthy for not being waiting that much.

I would rate 0 STARS if i could. THE WORKERS HERE ARE SLOW, INCOMPETENT, UNORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND RUDE. Word of Advice: BE PREPARED AND CALL AHEAD. ASK QUESTIONS. BE ASSERTIVE. DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. YOU HAVE RIGHTS, LEARN THEM. !!!!! Got here at 9am for an appointment in nacionalidad and i am now leaving at 12pm! There are LITERALLY still the SAME people who were here BEFORE ME and STILL HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN. The amount of unprofessionalism is unreal here at Consulada General de Mexico. I recommend finding a different location or be sure the people attending you are serious and proffessional, as YOU WILL BE WASTING TIME GOING BACK AND FORTH APPOINTMENT AFTER APPOINTMENT.
