Call and really find out what you need before you go.
You do need an appointment.

No A/C. Nice people but the service isn't very good.

I tried to call the Embassy to get some safety info for a group of US Doctors travelling there in couple of days for a week to give medical help to poor people.

But no one came on the phone to answer any questions, I must have tried about 7 different phone numbers given to me, but most were disconnected and tape recorded message came in NON-ENGLISH language which I did not understand.

I am very frustrated.  I tried every thing humanly possible to reach them.
