The service was great. The food took a little long to get to us because they were more focused on getting drive-thru orders out instead of focusing as well on the patrons on the inside. The food was mediocre, as a visit to the cookout in Thomasville a few weeks before, $4.99 special was much smaller and the fries apparently had set out for a while. Even though the amount of food you get for the price that you pay is worth it, the quality of the food lacks normal expectations. I would definitely recommend some of the other choices of dining around that cookout before I would go there. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine, but with a staff as packed as they were we expected more.

I moved to NC from WV a year ago and a friend made me try Cook Out. I've been hooked since then! Love the food! It's cheap and 10x better quality than McDonalds. It tastes like a family cook out in your back yard. The taste is in the name!

My review is specific for this location. My friend and I were going through the drive thru recently, and the lady at the window accidentally gave my friends cook out tray to the car in front of us and then proceeded to say that we were going to have to pay for the tray to be replaced...even though she messed up the order? So why would my friend have to pay for it twice? When we asked to speak to a member of leadership she rudely slammed the window in our faces and then the manager said it "wasn't policy" to give out a tray...even though it wasn't our mistake. I guess I'm confused because y'all literally make so much money and can't even afford to apologize by giving out a $5 tray. Also confused because that is policy at every other fast food chain.

I use to like cook out hot dogs they always were good but not now. They taste like cheap imitation fake plastic without any taste, they are not done enough inside and hard to chew. Cook out need to invest in better quality hot dog franks they have the money to do so, its a crying shame they let this go like this. Another thing every time I visit this location and place my order it comes back with burnt franks some have been so bad I had to get them to redo my order and they still came back burnt. You ask for the manager's help and they are just as bad, they act nonchalant and like they don't care. I'am thinking about not going back and telling my family and friends to do the same, its just not worth the upset and hassle.

Great food for a great price on the cook out tray meal. Need to be a bit more strict on dress code. I don't want my meal served with a view of male employee pants hanging on the hips with underware showing. It was very distasteful seeing a crack of underware butt with my meal being served. Yuck......Have been back since and have not seen that backside since.
