My 17month old had her first dental check-up here. I did not take issue with her crying through the visit, that was expected as she's an introvert. The front desk staff was very professional and kind both on the phone and in person. However, the tech or hygienist was horrible. She talked down to me like I was a terrible mother once she found out that I don't routinely brush my daughter's teeth after she nurses before bed. She made it a point and stated it 4 (I counted) different times that I "don't brush". I am very into my own dental hygiene and make a point to see the doc twice as often as recommended and certainly want to make sure my daughter has healthy teeth. I am a first time mom and was unaware that the dental appointments started at a year. My daughter has two toothbrushes that and twice a day when we brush out teeth, she gets her toothbrush and does the same after I rinse it. Maybe I should be doing more, but if that's the case, the technician should have been more educational rather than talking down to me. I am NOT paying this place $200 a visit for 3 minutes with the doc and a reaming by a person who has no professional courtesy. Furthermore, the doc was okay at best, but not worth the hassle of dealing with unprofessional staff.

The BEST dentist for children.   We had seen 4 other dentists in town, and non made my son feel so comfortable and safe.   Dr Derrick explained to my son exactly what to expect.  He made all his fears disappear.   He was actually anxious to return to see him.  The entire staff is so very patient and friendly.  Sal loves COOL MOUNTAIN KIDS PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY.  We will be going there for all Sal's needs.  Can't thank you enough...

I'm a dental hygienist here in Colorado Springs, and I am so happy to have found a fantastic pediatric dentistry office in Cool Mountain Kids! Dr. Miller is wonderful, and Tina and Crystal (his dental assistants) and very kind and knowledgeable. I also love that their office is beautiful, clean and the staff takes time to appropriately barrier the keyboards and equiptment so there is no cross-contamination between patients! They are also very sweet with my 4 year old son who has Sensory Processing Disorder and some other developmental delays. 5 stars! Edit to original post: One way to know if you are working with a quality dentist is to look at the staff turnover; good, ethical dentists usually have very slow turnover, and for the few years I've been with Dr. Miller there has been no turnover at all. Overall a quality office with quality people and quality care!

The best experience my kids have ever had with a dentist. Great friendly staff, caring dentist, and wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dental experience!

I absolutely love this pediatric dentist office! Everyone that works there is kind, gentle, funny, and thoughtful! My kids get excited to go! My daughter has Autism and they have always been thoughtful and immediately knew what to do to make it easy for her. Truly the best dental practice, Peds or otherwise!
