I went to Coopers Auto Repair for an oil change. They were professional and friendly. They also did a thorough inspection. While I was waiting I got a text saying my truck was in very good condition. That was a pleasant surprise. I also received coupons for future services as I referred a friend. I would definitely recommend Coopers.

Thank you, Clint, and the rest of the team at Coopers, for being straight forward and helpful through the whole process of assessing damage to my truck and doing a complete engine swap. The whole process took maybe week and my truck is running better than ever. I never felt pushed into any decision making and was happy these guys were taking care of my truck. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone, who needs work done. Fair price and excellent service.

Finding a mechanic can be overwhelming, especially when there are so many shops being thrown at you when you google, "best auto repair shop."  How do you pick one over the other? How do you trust a random mechanic when you've been burned too many times before?

I just picked up my car after having an all-around, full brake replacement and I'm glad I chose Cooper's Auto Repair Specialists over the others.  Clint was very friendly and helpful over the phone and made it easy for me to commit.  

Once the car was up on the rack, he took the time to point out an issue that was overlooked by prior technicians and gave me his honest opinion about it.  I also received, in real time, an inspection report and recommendations (including reasons) of services I should have soon.  This to me, demonstrates how thorough they are and it further confirmed that I made the right choice with Cooper's.   

They have a warranty to back up their workmanship and perks for returning customers.

In the future, if the need arises, I would absolutely bring my car back to Cooper's and recommend them to all of my friends and family. 

On a side note, they have ultra comfortable lobby chairs.

I do my own work because I really don't trust shops.  These guys changed that for me.  Clint was absolutely awesome!

On Monday, my two young kids and I got stuck in Tacoma after I-5 shutdown due to the train derailment.  We were stuck in stopped traffic for a very long time.  Unfortunately my alternator died and we were left on the side of the road.  First thing Tuesday morning I called Cooper Automotive to see if they would be able to look at my car the same day to help get us back on the road so we could return home.  Clint was super helpful.  Not only did Clint arrange a tow truck for me but he texted me updates all throughout the process.  I have never worked with a mechanic that was as technology savy as Cooper Automotive.  They texted a very thorough diagnostic list right to my phone!  Cooper Automotive was thorough and timely to help get my family home.  In the past when I talk to mechanics on the phone I have always taken notes to understand the problem with my cars and to be able to relate said problems to my husband.  However, going back through my notes at a later time I always feel like I have missed some of the clarity that I had while speaking to the mechanic on the phone.  I was super thrilled when Clint handed me my invoice.  He included very detailed technician notes which read exactly as our phone conversation went.  This will be super helpful for my records moving forward.  To top off the excellent customer service I received, Cooper Automotive checked up on me and my family the following day.  They wanted to ensure that my car was still running great and that my family made it home safely.  I really appreciate the service and care I received at Cooper Automotive.  I highly recommend them to anyone in the Tacoma area; they are definitely good people who value customer service!
