Always the best deal for lunch. The she crab soup and the house salad with the house dressing is great. I'm withholding a star because if you only have a one hour lunch you might not get to eat and pay and leave on time.
I see other people complaining about the time issue as well so if you're in a hurry, avoid it.

Went for dinner around 6:30 pm on Sat 12/9/17. The restaurant didn't seem overly packed there was a small group of people waiting but not abnormal. I was second in line at the host stand and listened as the host told the person in front of me that there was a long wait. She asked how long and she was given an exasperated reply of "like a really long time". She left. As I approached the stand the first host called over another, told him he was leaving and to tell anyone who came up that there was a long wait and they should go somewhere else. I thought maybe I didn't understand correctly what was going on so I approached the stand. I waited nearly a full minute before I was even acknowledged. I said that I'd like to put my name down for a table, without checking anything the new host chuckled and said "yeah, you should probably go somewhere else." After that he began shuffling menus and ignored me. First and last attempt to eat there. There were several open tables and no more than 6-8 people waiting.

The restaurant was packed, I had a party of 7 and after waiting twenty minutes to be seated no one was serving my table. A waitres from another area decided to help but had so much going on a lot of my guest orders was wrong, we didn't get any bread cresants, and drinks wasn't being refilled. This was the first time Copper River had let me down- or was it. After speaking with a manager "Will" our orders was prompt, the ticket was discounted 25%, and all of my guest enjoyed desserts on the house. We were waited on by the manager himself and was taken care of the rest of the night. My family was happy and we enjoyed a beautiful night at one of my favorite spots in town.

Visited on 02/25/18....let me start by saying the service was horrible. The host forgot  to seat us then when I asked her about it she lied and said I txt you twice.. when the person i was with came up she had the nerve to say didn't you see me waving trying to get your attention...so unprofessional...finally we were seated and it took 20mins before a waitress came from another section to wait on us..this is when we learn that the host was our waitress as well..The key manager came over, but she defended the hostess attitude, she offered us appetizers in which we declined because it was not about trying to get anything for free. It's all about delivering excellent customer service. Cooper River has been marked off my list of restaurants to visit.
