We have eaten at this restaurant since it has opened in Easley, SC. 

However, for this past Mother's Day, we had a party of 6 arrive around 5:15pm. The amount of people waiting outside and inside was rather large, due to the special occasion. When giving our name and asking about the wait time, we were told about an hour. Well, as we stand there and look around, we notice there are 10-12 empty tables throughout the restaurant. I proceeded to ask the hostess if any of these tables are "first come, first serve". She replied, "No, we seat those tables." I asked, "well, with all these people waiting, why isn't there anyone seated at these empty tables?" She "responded" to me by looking the other way pretending not to hear me. After that, we ended up leaving and eating elsewhere.

Not sure if the restaurant management forgot about Mother's Day and did not prepare for it, or if the hostess was bad at her job, or what was going on, but it was not a good look, and I won't forget it.

My son took me here on his visit from Alabama. The atmosphere was wonderful. Even though you waited in a long line to be seated it was well worth the wait. Was not a long wait on food to be served and the wait staff was very friendly. The wait stuff was vigalent in keeping our glasses full and not needing anything.

We always enjoy our dinner when visiting Copper River Grill. Usually very busy, but things move along well, both in the kitchen and in serving staff. Everyone seems up beat, and deal with customers well. I think that the Easley Copper River Grill is the best and our favorite in the upstate area.

Remember when this place first opened, and the food still has the same great taste. Actually hard to do over the years, but they have maintained very well. Would recommend them to anyone without food allergies.

We have been to 3 in the upstate. EASLEY is the best one. Never go to the one in Clemson it's horrible.
