Really did not know about this place until my sister-in-law from Boston came down and bought a burger from here. She said it was wonderful and went back and bought custard for my wife and I. Since that time we have been going back pretty regularly especially for the custard. They have different varieties and they all taste good.

Custard costs more and you get less. Kind of not worth it. The ice cream is still expensive, but it's good, real Ice cream (not soft serve). Very creamy. 😋 Their fries are thin and aren't anything to write home about. Steak and Shake has the same type of fries, but offers flavored seasonings such as salt and vinegar or Cajun.  Freddy's fries are boring. Overall, prices are a little too high for what they offer here, but overall the food and service are good.

Beware of going during non-peak hours.  Employees on break and they just sit there and look at you while you are waiting at the front counter for someone to come and greet  you and take your order. I was there for 10 minutes before someone finally was coaxed by another coworker to go to the front counter, (little blonde girl) and after rolling her eyes made her way to the front in exasperation to take our order.  If that wasn't enough, the place was filthy and looked like no one bothered to clean the tables all day.  Terrible experience, won't go back.  Plenty of better places for ice cream in Easley anyway.

My daughter and I have been to Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Easley, SC several times in the last six months. We have had a great experience whenever we've stopped in. 

The place is a bit retro like an old-fashioned burger and ice cream establishment. The other patrons seem to be having a wonderful time too. It's a fun place all-around.

The employees are friendly and helpful. 

The food has a bit more going for it than most burger places. The burger has a Steak-Umm quality to it. Our normal order is either the Double Steak Burger or the California Steak Burger. Both are delicious.

The fries are thin, almost like matchsticks. My taste on fries runs to liking them as thin as possible. My daughter enjoys steak fries, however. We both agree that they taste excellent. The seasoning that comes with them adds to their flavor. We both enjoy the regular and the jalapeno fry sauce, too. We tend to mix them together for more of a kick without it being too spicy. One of these days we will buy a bottle for at home. It's that good.

I think the real star for us, though, are the custard sundaes. The coffee syrup is my favorite topping. You will find a number of them that appeal to you I am sure.
