Perfect Montana ambiance, good drinks & yummy food. I like coming early to enjoy a cocktail at the beautiful bar before dinner so I can relax & take it all in. For apps, the Brussels sprouts and pretzel bites are good, but the dry rub wings are even better. My favorite entree selections are the steak, cheeseburger, and the house made ravioli.
Ordered the steak frites, bison meatloaf, and the bison short ribs. For drinks we had the smoked maple old fashioned and the whiskey sour. The drinks were fantastic! Highly recommend for drinks. The steak was ok, a bit chewy and not cooked to the temp I asked for, but the fries were unfortunately really undercooked. Everything else was pretty good, the short ribs in particular!
Copper is the one steak house we visited in Bozeman, and the food was so good. We each got one of their signature cocktails, each unique with a freshness unmatched. The steaks were so thick and fresh, the mashed potatoes full of flavor, and the roasted veggies and salad were fantastic. The only thing I got a picture of was the dessert. Highly recommend.
Cool atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! We had the Montana Trout and Bison Meatloaf. The Copper Old Fashioned was stout, and the Bozeman Spirits 1889 had a bite! Both were good though. Definitely will come back if ever in Bozeman!
Cool atmosphere and our server Miranda was great. The fried pickles were a really nice surprise. Coming from a person who doesn’t love pickles, they were my favorite appetizer. The pretzel bites were also delicious. The Mack and Cheese bowl was huge and it was good, but the bread was a little too garlicky for all of us. The Kentucky mule was ok, I expected more. The whiskey sour was good but, I was too overwhelmed by the egg smell on the cup. Overall 4 out 5.
I traveled to Bozeman for the first time recently and a friend recommended I try Copper. I went in sat down at the bar for a last minute happy hour and was warmly greeted by the bartender Trent. He let me know happy hour was ending soon and recommended a couple drinks and some appetizers. As a former bartender I am a real stickler when it comes to cocktails, and let me tell you these drinks are on point!! Great presentation fresh and great looking garnishes and house made syrups. Not one complaint! As far as the food goes, Trent recommended the poutine. Another hit! I knew I had to return to copper before I left Bozeman I did. And fortunately when I came back Trent was there he made recommendations and I went with them. I got the meatloaf and it was phenomenal. If you’re going to Bozeman I highly highly recommend stopping at Copper for a cocktail and some food. Thanks Trent and the Copper staff!
My friend and I went to Copper twice during our New Years break. Loved the whiskey sampler and the knowledgeable bartender. When in Montana...you have bison chili fries!
The food was so good and the drinks were creative and delicious! Ryder was an amazing server and he gave great food and drink recommendations+
Copper! Wow! We came in tonight for our anniversary and we were beyond impressed! Our experience started with the hosts friendly smiles and kindness and never stopped. Our cocktails were on point and we know a good old fashioned. I had the copper old fashioned while my girlfriend had the smoked maple old fashioned, recommended by our amazing server Shayla. The smoked maple was a little sweet for my liking, but she loved it!! The food was delivered fast and hit the spot after a day of traveling. We are definitely coming back again soon!!
Went with a group of six and was excited about all the hype from everyone about this place. We all ordered steaks and one of the persons in my party asked for MedWell and it came back almost rare. Oh and half the restaurant was closed off, one hour wait time, 45 mins to get some fried pickles and another hour to get the meal. Over three hours on the restaurant for mediocre food. Steak wasn’t what I had expected, especially for the price. The mac-n-cheese was watered down cheese noodles. And to top it all off there were mice running around our feet. The one thing I will add that was positive is that Daniel our sever was trying his best with what he had to work with. The waitress helping him Rosea was rude and didn’t care at all about helping us. ***Update- Tried reaching out to the “okaygroup” but have heard nothing back from them. I see they post the same message to any negative review. So much for trying to talk about the issues.
