Mission

mission: Core Physical Therapy Clinics strives to be the provider of choice for premium rehabilitative services in the Chicago area. We actively seek opportunities to impart positive change in our patients' lives through continued education, focused and effective treatments with real world application, all while remaining mindful of the patient's short and long term goals.

vision: Our intent is to provide our patients with a the most comprehensive rehabilitation experience from beginning to end, including an evaluation and diagnosis of their symptoms, education on their condition, the latest and most effective treatment options base on evidence, and strategies for continued success beyond the clinic.

approach: We believe that Physical Therapy is best utilized by taking a proactive approach to managing conditions. Very easy to schedule appointments, update appointments and pay online.  Jeff was my therapist for shoulder pain and was very helpful throughout working with him.  He provided lots of exercises for at-home and sought feedback after each session in the office - what felt good, what didn't feel good, what I would like to work on to get back to any activities I had otherwise been missing out on.  While I was seeing him for my shoulders, I also had a sciatic nerve flare-up and he provided helpful exercises for that too.  The rest of the team at Core PT was also great and I would definitely see them again if I have any other issues.

I had such a great experience at Core Physical Therapy! Not only was Jeff informative and knowledgeable, he was patient and encouraging throughout my time there. I'm leaving with my lower back feeling the best it has in years, and with so much knowledge and capability to maintain the work completed at CPT (thanks, Jeff!). Side note: online scheduling on their website is so easy to use and such a great feature. All around, I highly recommend!

Working with both Jeff and Jason is a pleasure. Not only did they quickly identify my problem areas, but in a short 6 weeks I have seen vast improvements in pain, stiffness, functionality, and range of motion for both my hip and shoulder. 

I tend to ask a  lot of questions and am very engaged in finding workouts on my own that may help. Jeff and Jason are always there to consult on how it will fit in with their training regiment and have impressive knowledge on body mechanics.

They have literally changed my life and gotten me back to doing the physical activities I love.

I've been working with Jason and the staff for several months and it's been great. I acquired a trimalleolar fracture (badly broken ankle) in early September, followed by surgery and R&R. I started with Core in December and have been on the steady road to discovery since. It's been incredibly unremarkable, which is exactly what I wanted. No surprises, no setbacks.

The online scheduling is handy. My schedule is often very tight and I almost always find a time to get in with just a couple days notice.

Prior to visiting Core, I only heard bad-to-not-good things about physical therapy. My experience has been the opposite. Highly recommended.

After knee surgery I was required to go to at least 6 weeks of physical therapy. I'd never surgery of any kind or PT. I found this location based of proximity to my office and the great reviews sealed the deal.

I completed my required sessions yesterday and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Everyone I encountered in the office and treatment area were very nice. All the therapists seem great but I worked with Jeff Bitter (thearapist) and Xavier (exercise coach) each time. I was able to easily and conveniently manage my appointments online, though you can call or book in person. 

Jeff and Xavier were the perfect balance of being supportive and challenging. Always positive, they made me feel good about my progress. Jeff was very knowledgeable, patient and personable. He could answer all of my questions and make great suggestions specific to my needs and personal preferences for treatments, and life after PT. After I would work with Jeff, Xavier would coach me through the exercises. He was awesome, very patient and funny! As I would struggle to gain strenth or complete a new exercise, he would encourage me.

I left every session feeling positive and like I made progress each time. I will be recommending the location and therapists to everyone! Do yourself a favor and choose this location!
