The park is not bad, it has sidewalks and bridges to ride/walk thru. A playground for kids and even a water park during the daytime. Fishing is allowed, and ducks to feed (don't feed ducks bread 🍞 it's not healthy for them.) Pokemon Go players will find the park worth a trip. Only reason it's not 5 star is there a many homeless people residing there. They never bother you, and I understand it's unfortunate those poor people have no where else to stay.

I love this park, always have. It's fun to fish here (with a current fishing license if course) or just chill in the shade or BBQ some brats. Community pool/waterproof is nice. One problem is have and it isn't the quiet homeless folks that enjoy grass or use the clean bathrooms. It's the over intrusive Phoenix Police department that frequently driver through flashing lights in your eyes and invade your space or conversation insisting everyone with long hair, tattoos or dirty pants is either on drugs or has a warrant. They think just because drugs frequent the area, it gives them a reason to infringe on our rights ( tattoos are not probable cause sir) I still enjoy the park. I won't let them ruin my freedom to enjoy our public parks.

This is a great park for kids, the playground is quite big. They have a public swimming pool and a pond that looks nice. The only thing I had a problem with was the transiets hanging around the restroom area. So I recommend go to the restroom before hand.

I like to walk to this park with my Pekingese pets to enjoy the lake and life at this leisure time location. It has playgrounds, swimming pool, picnic benches, restrooms and shelter Ramadas. There are many trees to provide cooling shade in the summer. I meet others who are friendly who visit this park from near and far.

Playground equipment is new and they've planted some new trees (also has quite a few mature trees). There is a pond where they recently added some seating for fishing. However, the pond is really dirty and stinky. Large grass areas are there and I often see folks playing soccer and football and families having birthday parties. Baseball diamonds are decent with small, metal bleachers. There's paved walking trails which are pretty nice. It's an older neighborhood and you'll find some homeless folks, but I've never been bothered by anyone.
