This is a beautiful place to spend a few hours in a day. The old homes/buildings lovely and the rose garden is gorgeous! The park is a nice place to have a picnic and let the kids play! Love that they have a baby/toddler swing. Not every park does.

We attended a wedding here and the set up was beautiful and it is very well kept. The views are pretty. There were little bunnies and peacocks roaming the property which I loved. During the reception the venue only had 1 restroom which kind of caused a back up but you could walk some where else for more rest rooms

I love visiting Sahuaro Ranch Park. On one side, there are the historical buildings and rose garden where peacocks roam. On the other side, a huge covered area for grills and parties (would need to reserve a space on busy weekends) and a lot of scattered picnic tables with single grills amongst pecan trees. There's also a dog park on the west border and a nice playground. There are restroom facilities near the playground, too.

My kids loved the main playground (pictured) in the center of the park. It was fun to see chickens and peacocks roaming the grounds. There is also a historic farmhouse/museum that does tours, a rose garden, dog park, soccer fields, sand volleyball, picnic tables, cabanas with grills (must be reserved), and baseball fields. Snow-cone vendors are often on site. Situated between the Glendale Public Library and Glendale Community college. 2 parking lots. Parking on the West side is accessible from 63rd Ave., but is not connected to the Central parking lot, accessed from Mountain View Rd. via 59th Ave.

Got photos taken here. Our photographer has permission to shoot here. But the park employees bolted plastic over all the windows on the buildings. That not only looked horrible, but over time got dirty and full of dust and cobwebs. These made many of our photos need to be photo shopped or cropped to edit the eye sore windows. Other than that the park is beautiful. Peacocks are pretty and human friendly.
