I also have been having the same issue with Cosmetic Dentistry on West 71st Street as someone named 'Daniel Held" in that the Reception desk lady is really quite inept. After Dr. Kim advised me nearly a month ago that my wife will require her physician's authorization to undergo a dental procedure by Dr. Kim, I called Cosmetic Dentistry several times this week never being able to speak to a live Receptionist and, of course, leaving call back messages. No one called us so I finally reached the incompetent Receptionist who told me that 'no one from my wife's medical team had responded to a call from Cosmetic Dentistry? I asked the Receptionist why we weren't told about this and she said I should call the doctor again to get the authorization. Yesterday the doctor called Cosmetic Dentistry leaving a message for Cosmetic Dentistry to call him back and no one did which is the norm for this totally incompetent Reception Desk at Cosmetic Dentistry. Today I called Cosmetic Dentistry and the call was picked up after two rings by someone filling in at the Reception Desk, Garrett. I explained the problem with Garrett who said he will speak with Dr. Kim regarding our physician having called yesterday and not being able to reach a live Receptionist nor being called back by same? Dr. Kim is a very good dentist who I want to take care of my wife's dental problems, but the young woman Office Receptionist is totally inept and much too busy fooling around with her cellphone messages.

Wonderfully competent dentist here, Dr. Kim. But the Reception desk is in serious need of change. Phone calls are rarely, if ever, picked up by the receptionists working here nor are there return calls after leaving messages.

i have been living in nyc for over 7 years now and have yet to find a dentist that i like. i came here due to its proximity to my apt and i had 2 wonderful experiences. dr kim is such a pleasure - very good at explaining what's going on dental-wise and the office staff is quite friendly.

Please do not go here, the teeth cleaning was horrific and the denist kept talking about how he wished he was an author....if you want poor service go here!!
