Best pizza in town. don't read into the bad reviews about time and service. It's always great. Times may be slow but it's a college town with lots of business. The best place in town is bound to be backed up. People should stop whining. Keep it up guys and gals!

Ordered a Large pepperoni and bacon deep dish pizza for pickup. Got there and had to wait five minutes for someone to help me, When someone finally helped they said it had just finished which was strange because i was late to pick it up. I thought the size wasn't right but didn't think too much about it until i got home and opened it up. It was half pepperoni and half sausage as well as a medium pizza (I don't know how its even possible to mess up that bad) so i drove all the way back, I explained what happened and he asked if i wanted him to remake the pizza or keep this one and have them credit my account for a new pizza, i would have considered it if it was a large pizza, so i told him to remake it and he said he'd have to wait for the manager and he'd help me out, after waiting for the manager all he told me was my pizza would be ready in five minutes and offered me a drink. After about 10 minutes my pizza was finally ready. Really don't know how my order got messed up that bad. Pizza was fine though.

Placed a pizza order online and received confirmation. When it was 45 minutes late we called. We were told that it didn't go through. Asked if we wanted to receive a credit which will take 3 to 5 days or do we want the pizza. We said just bring the pizza We were told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. After waiting another 1 1/2 hours we called back. They had cancelled our order. Do not order from Cottage Inn!

I can't recommend this place. The service used to be a lot better, even if delivery has always been slow, but even service has gone downhill in the last few years. The pizza isn't very good, and hasn't been for awhile. If you put in an order for the future, there's been multiple times they've lost the order, or screwed up badly enough that it's laughable. I once ordered a pizza for a party, and put the order in a week in advance. The order showed up the same night I ordered it, and it wasn't a screw-up on my end, the receipt showed exactly when I ordered it for. I can go on and on with how many times they've taken an hour to an hour and a half to deliver a pizza. I've even had times reach 2 hours. Avoid this place if you can.

A few years back this was my favorite pizza place in Mount Pleasant, lots of options, friendly service, and quick delivery. About a year, year-and-a-half ago service started to seriously decline. In that time I have had orders messed up (even online orders), delivery taking over an hour and a half on weekdays, rude drivers and people answering the phone, lying or forgetting to send promised coupon after complaint over lousy service... It has gotten a bit ridiculous, and I am saddened by the decline. By looking at the other reviews I can tell this is not just me, but a systematic issue. I suggest the ship be pulled together before it sinks.
