I give COTTENWOOD A 10 STAR RATING. When ALL other Vetrinarians IN SANTA FE REFUSED to help me and my animal's that were dying one after another from a respiratory infection because I was low on MONEY. I was heartbroken with the LACK OF COMPASSION that I recieved from a few Clinic's in Santa Fe. I mean our animals were DYING and they only cared about payment! I thought Vet's were in this profession to help animal's NO MATTER WHAT. They would not even accept a post dated check! I walked into Smith's Veterinary "Hospital" with a baby rabbit that died on the way there. After speaking with a woman that said "no problem come in right away" I literally had a dead pet in my hands as I was crying along side with my 9 year old daughter crying as well and the "Dr" could not even be bothered to come speak to me and sent her rude assistant to "look" at all the animal's and brought me an invoice and said come up with this amount and we can help your animal's. HEARTLESS! And the woman I spoke with on the phone was nowhere around and 4 of the women there said "i didnt take her call." "I didn't sat it was okay to come in" NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!! And then was treated HORRIBLY and they made us feel even worse! I live in Santa Fe County (Hwy.14) way down South and had to drive ALL THE WAY TO ESPANOLA because Dr. P and the most awesome secretary that answeres the phone DID NOT CARE ABOUT MONEY. They genuinally cared for my animal's and wanted to help us. The Cottenwood Dr and staff were so welcoming and helpful and knowladable they took us in immediately and saved all of my animal's lives! Sent us home with medication for them and actually had us back a couple time's afterward for follow up visits. Knowing we didnt have alot of money when I recieved the bill in the mail I was SO TOUCHED AND RELIEVED as i KNOW they put into consideration of our situation and silently helped out with a BIG part of the bill. I will pay the balance in full very soon. I am forever thankful and indebted to the Cottonwood Dr and ALL of the staff. For giving us our hope back as we felt noone cared and so many other wonderful reasons. I am a new and loyal customer and feel it is MORE then worth DRIVING 45 miles for genuinally good hearted, COMPASSIONATE people caring for our pet's (that are like most people I'm sure, feel thier animal's are FAMILY.) Thank you Dr.P and the vivacious secretary that took my call. Our rabbits are growing and healthy and happy thanks to YOU ALL AT COTTENWOOD! God Bless you all and a million thanks for helping us in our desperate time of need. You all are ANGEL'S TO US! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! COTTENWOOD!

Have been taking our animals to see Dr. Ramsey since she opened the clinic. She is the best amazing vet in the world! She's world renowned, and has been in national geographic articles for her work. She is the 8th wonder of the world! Just call ahead, make an appointment, and be patience. They are a small clinic with limited number of staff so patience's is a must for everyone to receive the best care. If you try to walk in without an appointment, you will be turned away because its not fair to the other people who have made and appointment and have been patiently waiting.

Remote but excellent vets. While I was waiting a deer tooth was removed from a dog, a gunshot dog was transported, gorgeous parrots were treated and our dog was cared for as well as many others by three gifted vets!
