Dr. Johnson and Cathy were able to squeeze us in at a moment's notice. We're visiting from out of town and had an unforeseen need to get one of our dogs in--of course we would have wanted to get to our vet back at home but we felt well taken care of here. Price for services seemed more than reasonable; we would definitely return if needed (hopefully not!).

I have two Standard Poodles and Tim Johnson in my opinion is the best there is. He is always available; one never feels rushed. He takes his time and to be honest, I just feel safe with him. He and his wife Kathy, do a fantastic job. When I take my one dog she gets excited and jumps on the table. This still goes on after surgery and other issues that my dog Molly has had and he has just been so wonderful words can't describe. Kathy is also great, she has helped me with insurance issues and is always there to sort things out. My dogs are my children and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

2 years ago I adopted a dog. Having always had cats I had NO idea how to deal with a dog. Dr. Johnson was kind, patient and carefully answered all my questions guiding me into dog ownership, giving me confidence and knowledge. Two years l'm still asking questions and keeping my dog safe and healthy with the Johnson's. Dr. & Mrs. Johnson are both very caring. I enjoy the quiet, calm of their office.

Dr. Johnson and staff are wonderful. Very comfortable experience going to his office and he was very kind with our dog. My mom brought her dogs to see him too and he was the first vet in years that actually listened to her about her male dog's behavior at a veterinarian's office and worked with the dog based on her information. Previous veterinarian's just tried to control this dog's behavior in unkind ways. Dr. Johnson is our Veterinarian of choice.

Without a doubt, the very best Vet of my life, and I am 66. This is a wonderful place, the most caring vet ever. He, and his adorable wife CAthy, KNOW your pet, and really really care. THE best of Taos, period.
