Beautiful, hidden gem of a zoo! Breathtaking views and gorgeous, well-cared for animals. Woodland Park regulars might be shocked at how tiny Cougar Mountain is, but it is a treat to experience the smaller, quieter atmosphere at least once. Don't miss the Tiger talk/feeding! (parents with young, preschool-aged children: we went on a Fall weekday and pretty much had the zoo to ourselves! We got to sit right by the fence and watch the tigers without fighting through crowds - so great!)

Beautiful little zoo for me to take my two year old. If you like it after visiting the first time, you can buy a year long pass, and they deduct from the price (which is under $100 for the two of us) of what we just payed for the daily visit! There's exhibits thruout the day, and a special reindeer festival, with all of Santa's reindeer, in December! Staff is friendly, park is immaculate, and gifts in gift shop are reasonably priced! Animals seem content, and very well cared for, which is great, considering they are, after all, in captivity. All in all, It's a great place to pack a lunch, and go spend a few hours with the little ones.

This Zoo Exhibit is beautiful. It's a small zoo setting with cougars, tigers, parrots, other various birds that are fun to see, reindeer, kangaroos and more. The Zoo is located in Cougar Mountain where my family lives, which is very convenient, I've visited several times. The focus on conservation of endangered species, it's a very small zoo but lovely (has a family-type small business setting). It's a beautiful location over Lake Sammamish and view of the Cascades. They do adorable activities around the Holidays but it's nice to visit all year! It's not a big commercial zoo so don't expect food stands or anything like that. One of the reasons I like it so much and support is because they seem like they take very good care of all the animals.

What an awesome place to visit. The staff is amazing and it is a great place to have a birthday party for the young ones. They have a party room and make a special effort for the birthday child.

Great little zoo for young children. Not very big, but little ones enjoy the open spaces and seeing the animals. For $2 you can buy a small cup of sliced apples and pears to feed the non carnivorous animals. Around Christmas time they have a reindeer festival where kids can do art activities and meet Santa while overlooking the reindeer.
