I would have in the past recommended the Country Club, to anyone. Even if you didn't enjoy Country Music it was fun, the crowds would dance and you would stand in line to get in. I came down from Pittsburgh and recommended that we all go there. When we arrived it cost 10.00 a person to get in, there was no crowd, nobody was dancing, and they had a band playing only rap music. I am not against rap but would not have paid $20.00 for me and my guest, let along everyone else,  to go in if I would have known. I am so disappointed in the the owners. I would not recommend going there if there is any place else you can go to dance.

My friend and I visited the Country club for her birthday and initially the people were really nice. The bartenders were great and the crowd was awesome but some of the City of Augusta police officers who were acting as security inside the building were rather rude. They displayed teasing looks toward us, which included whispering every time we walked by and looking at us and laughing. One of the officers was observed making monkey gestures and sounds. It was borderline harassment. My friend and I proceeded to leave and do not plan on going back. I understand everyone has opinions but that was quite unprofessional and should not have been an issue. The Country Club itself was great, but I regret that two people ruined a birthday.

Took my brother and his wife here for live music. The night we went was a great band and superb time. I think the band determines the crowd, based on these reviews. Check the band before attending! Giant bar. Very reasonable prices.

Great chill spot line dancing lessons are offered and the instructor is awesome. So put your boots on and get here you won’t regret it.

If I was from the South or even a fan of country (music or culture) I'd be more inclined to give a better review, but as this is a personal opinion, I feel I should be honest. If you enjoy country music, line dancing, rap/hip hop (later in the evening) then you may like it here, but for me, a guy from Philly not so much. I came here on a Friday to avoid going downtown as I was looking to go somewhere more geared towards my age but this ended up being nothing near what I was looking for, too southern for me, if I can use that as an adjective here lol. Not really the kind of place for everyone. The dress code is kind of not impressive either, I mean, you can dress like a "cowboy" but someone can't dressed relaxed with loose fitting jeans as they are seen as "baggy". As well as since I have tattoos, I'm expected to wear sleeves covering them...maybe people think I'm a thug or something I dunno, i probably would be one of the most educated and articulate thugs out there then.....that was a joke, not a thug here lol. If you want to go somewhere where it's a more relaxed atmosphere don't come here, if you want to dance, be around loud music, or again if you're heavy into "southern" then you'll feel at home. Myself though, I think I'll just bite the bullet and be that 30 something guy down on Broad feeling out of place around all the "kids".

Pros- Place looks nice, has security and keeps people from acting insane, has a drink selection and a large dance floor.
Cons- I'm not into country or anything southern, I don't line dance (I'm from Philly), not into the dress code (if I'm going to "dress up" I'd rather go somewhere classy), music here isn't my thing.
