I really hate to leave such a terrible review… But this one doesn’t even deserve one star. We came here for my mother’s birthday the night before a cruise. The clerk was friendly and check in was easy. But when we got to our room, I realized we had a problem. The refrigerator had failed and leaked water on the cabinet and caused it to develop mold. The room had a musty moldy smell to it. In the corner of the room by the back door, there was - what appeared to be - a bloodstain. The carpets had a crazy amount of stains on them and the walls were pretty beat up. We went downstairs to report these findings so that we would not be charged for them at checkout… And the guy at the front said “there’s nothing I can do about that”. After we ate dinner, we came back and the smell was worse. I went downstairs and asked to be moved to a different room. The clerk insisted that the hotel was sold out and that there were no additional rooms. There were obviously several vacancies, so I called his bluff. After yammering on for about five minutes he called our room. The phone was broken so we were unable to hear what he was saying. I called from my cell phone and he told me that a room had just opened up. He showed me to a room one floor down and told me that it was an upgrade and more expensive. I informed him that I would not be paying any additional and he reluctantly agreed. The new room had just as many stains on the floor, but luckily no blood. It was still just as crappy as the room upstairs. Long story short… I would rather sleep in my car than stay here again.

There was no shower curtain and no plug for the tub...how did they expect us to bathe? The hair dryer didn't work. We did get it to run for about 10 seconds and it suddenly shut off and smelled like it was going to start a fire so we unplugged it. We left for our cruise with wet hair in cold weather. The water pressure was so low I could barely rinse the shampoo from my hair. There was a large red stain on the carpet by the door. Dish TV had very few channels and the buttons on the remote were worn and dirty. Breakfast didn't begin until 7:00 a.m. and the food was just so-so...meh. I've stayed in many of these Country Inn & Suites so I was very, very disappointed by this location.

My family booked a room at Country Inn and Suites prior to going on a cruise. We booked a room here due to shuttle service to cruise and parkingof our vehicle while on the cruise.. Upon arrival at the hotel, we found it to smell very musty. There were not enough pillows in the rooms. We asked for pillows but were told that they were short on pillows. The breakfast was powdered eggs. The shuttle service took us to the cruise port, but did not pick us up. When we called to inquire about our shuttle back to our vehicle , we were told that we would have to wait about an hour and a half because the driver had an emergency. Then we were told that the driver had to go to the airport.. We ended up having to get taxis to get our family members back to the hotel so we could get our car... Next time, we will NOT stay at this hotel...

No hot water in the room. No anti-slip or safety rails either. Breakfast is served but not until 9 a.m.. Awesome view of the waterfront and pleasure pier. Not horrible for the price.

Icky breakfast- powdered eggs, unknown meat, and waffles. Hallways reek of cigarette smoke. Room has mold in various places and the water will not get hot for showers.
