I have known LaModa Salon and it's wonderful owners Yvette and Sandro for nearly 20 years. My experiences there are always of the highest quality and the warmest regards. Yvette is a Master Stylist and I trust her knowledge, skills and advice implicitly. I highly recommend anyone to the inviting and professional environment that is Galveston's LaModa Salon.

Beautiful and creative salon upstairs with friendly staff, a historic location, and plenty of great services to choose from! These girls rock!

I went to La Moda to get a pedicure, a blow dry and a microdermabrasion.  The pedicure was good, the blow dry not so great, and I never got the microdermabrasion because the room she took me to was DIRTY as can be.  The counters were dirty, the floors were dirty and the machines were dirty.
I left without getting it and told the owner that the room was very dirty.

The next day, the wife of the owner called me, and asked me about my bad experience.  When I told her that the room was too dirty for me, and that it made me wonder if they ever cleaned their equipment or kept it sanitized, she told me that they were the best salon in Galveston and that all of their equipment was top of the line.

Why bother to call a customer and ask them why they walked out if you don't care what they have to say?!!

DON'T COME HERE.  It is dirty and overpriced.
