Let’s talk about the great. This is my second stay and the service was 100% better than first time. Clearly night and day. The room felt nice with modern updates. It felt like a Marriott. There is usual little market, Courtyard Bistro (was closed when I arrived so no review on food) and Starbucks inside as well. The room had everything I needed including lotions and body wash that a lot of hotels skip. I only reason for 4 stars is the charge for parking at $10. I always downgrade rating for parking fees (just like if an airline charges for bags). Over all I would stay here again and recommend. Note: prices may vary since it is right in front of Utah Jazz stadium.

This was my first time staying at the Courtyard downtown and I was extremely impressed. I had zero issues with check in, the rooms were updated, spacious, and comfortable. The bathrooms were updated with large walk-in showers. The staff were all very friendly. There's a nice bar that serves standard drinks as well as a small restaurant that serves surprisingly good breakfasts. Overall, I'll be staying here for my future business trips!

I LOVE this hotel! There is a pool, hot tub and fitness center. So that is awesome and I took advantage of that every day I was there. They also have a bar, however the food there is pretty pricy, I would recommend instead going downtown and getting something to eat there. The rooms are a decent size, there is a TV, microwave, fridge and large bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Great staff. Incredibly clean rooms, public spaces, amenities. No breakfast however but this is a quiet, private hotel unnecessary of an available breakfast. Convenient shopette in the lobby is great for snacks and forgotten toiletries. Available business center in open lobby with space for small casual meetings. Great separation from hotel and convention area within such a small space. The restaurant is conveniently located near convention area and hotel room elevators. No free parking. Bedroom doors and Amenity doors use an NFC “near field” key card. You tap the card to the lock and it unlocks in seconds.

We partied, we slept, and normally I would just drop 5 stars. BUT I was staying for a concert at the Depot(5 minute walk), I was very disappointed to approach my hotel to a locked door. My biggest issue was at 12 am, we are stumbling through the entrance and you need a key to even get in the hotel lobby. This. Is. BS. Pretty important to share upon check in especially if you are inviting guests or your friend has the key to YOUR Room and you do not. Not very welcoming for a hospitality type business to lock the doors after 12 pm considering there is someone literally sitting in the lobby 24/7. I've stayed in Chicago and Detroit, I think SLC can keep the doors unlocked.
