Visited 26 July 2022, second visit Daniel greeted and seated us, then got our coffee, tea, and water started before our waitress got to us. Our waitress, Beverly was on point. For our party of seven, she took each order effortlessly, and had no problem adjusting when someone changed their mind to get something else. I had the chorizo & eggs with home fries, wheat toast, and a side of avocado, and coffee. The coffee was thick!. I had it black and it was sooo smooth without being bitter. I didn't even need to add anything. As soon as it was near half, one of the waitstaff was coming around offering refills. Similar to my first visit, food was great. Service was equally excellent and the waitstaff was very attentive. Highly recommend. ----- Visited 18 July 2022, first visit Breakfast was great. I got the French toast combination, which come with choice of 2x eggs, and bacon or sausage. I chose bacon. And added a side of avocado I loooove avocado and always, always add it if available. $14.95 + My friend got the chorizo & eggs, with hash browns, and sourdough bread. $15.95. We both enjoyed our meals and was so stuffed after eating that we decided to take a walk afterwards. Not listed on the menu are orange & cranberry mimosa and bloody Mary. I got the cranberry mimosa and it was good too. My friend wanted a beer but they either didn't have any or the first server, a male, didn't understand what my friend asked. Our waitress, Debbie, was friendly and attentive. After taking our order, the food came out fairly quickly. She checked on us to make sure everything was good, then brought our bill once she noticed we were done eating. Overall, the food was great. We just wished they had more alcoholic beverages to choose from. Parking: Like all of downtown, there is plenty street parking, which is free for the first 2 hours.
A nice little local diner that has some pretty good breakfast! The staff was friendly, attentive and knew some of the regulars by name. There is outside, inside and bar seating. I had the Biscuits and Gravy platter that came with hashbrowns or fried potatoes and a side of sunny-side eggs. It was pretty tasty, the gravy was good and the biscuits were a good size. The eggs were good too, sometimes it's easy to mess up something simple. I had some coffee too, it was pretty good and I don't think my cup ever got past half empty! All in all, it's a good place for a nice sit-down meal and I'll more than likely be back!
Cool American breakfast diner with amazing decor and vibes! We got their signature omelette and the strawberry french toast! It was such a soul satisfying meal. Loved it!!!!!Recommended dishesStrawberry French Toast
Went for breakfast a few days ago. Pretty uninspiring. Omelet was kind of tasteless and Dry. Overcooked. My wife’s pancakes were also dry. Ordered a side order of sausage. Nuked. It’s like there are not enough cook staff and they are cooking in bulk and keeping it semi warm. Overall disappointing. A pity as others had told us it was good. Décor is old school.
The staff was friendly and had a smile the whole time. The food wasn't what I was expecting. I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and upgraded to biscuits and gravy. The steak was small but good. The eggs were good as well. The hash browns they served were more of just potatoes, not shredded and crisp like hash browns should be. The biscuits and gravy were thick and cold. Long story short I think they were just a quick bite for tourists. We didn't eat everything that was served and they didn't mind charging us the full price.
Sign over the doors says "Down Home Cookin", nothing fancy here but the service is very good, quick & friendly. The cowgirl has pictures of her favorite hollywood cowboys on the wall along with american flags and ranch life tchotchke. Good light, welcoming atmosphere, and simple home style food make this an easy to recommend spot to start your morning in downtown Paso.
Very good service, very good food. Nice selection to choose from. I would go again. Short stack of pancakes was HUGE!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Awesome breakfast! They were busy, but the food came out quick and was delicious. The country fried steak melted was able to cut with a butter knife! And the burrito was flavorful. Hash browns were crispy as requested and the home fries were fresh and tasty. Coffee was refilled promptly and service friendly. The prices are based upon cash, so be prepared with some greenbacks in you pocket.
If you can’t find something you like here, you’re not hungry. Staff is super friendly and kind, and the food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Green chili and cheese burger was great, the turkey and avocado club was HUGE and my FIL’s strawberry pancakes looked amazing. Overall we were very pleased with our visit!
This Cafe feels like home. The food is amazing with that southern home cooked fair. The staff are some of the friendliest people in Paso Robles. If you haven't tried The Cowgirl Cafe yet then do yourself a favor and go! Oh, and I'm on a special diet and they were super accommodating.Food: 4/5
