You don’t need a review because they are all the same. EXCEPT. While evacuating from Florida we stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel because it's consistent, great food, good service. What sets the Pell City Cracker Barrel apart from all the others is Holland, our waitress. She was a ray of sunshine in a unsure and dark time, as we sat down to eat our home was going through the storm and we didn’t know whether we still had a home to return to. She made my kids smile, made us feel like everything was going to be ok. When our meal was done She told us if we wanted a home cooked meal to give her a ring. This was our first experience in Alabama, and it showed us what the heart of Alabama is really about. I hold back tears when i think of what pure kindness Holland showed us.  I hope her management reads this review and gives her the recognition she deserves. If you could have a Holland at every one of your locations you would have to competitors

Food is delicious and service is great! Excellent place to sit a while and visit with family or friends. There was no wait on a table Friday night for a group of nine around 7 pm. We took our time eating and catching up. After dinner, the adults sat on the porch in rockers talking for about half an hour while the kids played checkers. Waitress had a great personality and kept us laughing..she was on top of the service for our large party. Drinks were always refilled and she brought tons of extras so we didn't have to ask for things. Waitress will bring ticket to the table, but you pay at the counter in the store at the entrance. Bathrooms are very clean.

My family and I evacuated Florida for Hurricane Irma and knew we could count on Cracker Barrel to be good ol deliciousness, comfort. What sets this cracker barrel apart was our waitress Holland. She has a heart of gold and was so quick to lift our spirits and help in any way she could. We truly appreciate your generosity, love and kindness. Thank you! You were also a great role model for our older child as she was also amazed at the level of compassion! Truly unforgettable!

Good food. Service is not bad but not above average either. Servers seem as if just doing a job to get paid and go home. Nothing much to brag about but also not much to complain about either.

Staff was very friendly and very efficient.  Was welcomed coming in the door,  seated quickly,  got my food quickly.  The campfire chicken meal is whay i ordered.  Received fast and hot.  There was a good portion of food,  and the vegetables were good.  The chicken itself lacks luster.  Very bland.  Almost like eating boiled chicken.
