This place is awesome. The decor is great it captures the retro look with awesome art work incorporated into the walls. The food is amazing with a great seasoned burger and the bun is the unsung hero. The milkshakes are perfect and smooth, but the best part is the staff and the level of customer service. I was greeted with an awesome smile and felt like I was a regular there right away. The manager heard that we were there evacuated from Florida due to Irma and took the time to chat with us and make our experience amazing. It was my first time at Hwy 55 and I would have never guessed that it was a chain. The level of service and the quality of the food speaks of a family business who's cuisine and palet has been refined through years. As a chain I believe the entire staff of this establishment deserve recognition. If there is a district manager or area manager then he has a perfect place to model other restaurants to. Thank you guys for an awesome dinner in such a dark and uncertain week. My family is truly grateful.

My family and I evacuated Florida for Hurricane Irma and just happened to stumble upon Highway 55 on Google. We have visited this restaurant twice since we've been here because of the excellent food and outstanding service. Matt, and his work family went above and beyond for us. They made each part of our meal memorable and went so far as to get us a card, water, snacks and well wishes and high hopes for our journey home. They were so kind, caring and sweet to both our kids, especially our toddler. Thank you Matt and family for everything you did for us! We truly appreciate it!

My new favorite place to eat in Pell City. The burgers are AMAZING. All of the staff are very friendly and make sure you have a great experience there. I love the environment, it's a good place where you can take the whole family to have good, high quality food. I'd definitely recommend people to go eat here. I love the way the place is set up too! Absolutely Love Hwy 55

Worst burger: bacon was wadded up like a golf ball and every bit as hard as one. Lettuce was literally white and the tomato was on the other side of the burger. Fries were cold. The chili cheese fries were cold- from the fries to the cheese sauce as well as the so-called chili. I'm not even going to dignify the so-called cooks attitudes with a response. "Matt" and "Michael " (the cashier, wasn't sure of the cook's name as he was from a different store). Either way it was terrible and we couldn't eat it.

Excellent. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all great. Servers are friendly and attentive.
