Not an experience I would want to have again. Soda had a funny taste and the waitress said We were not the only ones to complain about it that day. The biscuits and cornbread was so hard that you could probably drive nails with them. If you go you might want to bring a flare gun to get the attention of your waitress. That's the downside. The positives are the rest of the food was decent and the price was reasonable.

Breakfast food is very good! Service is excellent. Prices are comparable to surrounding resturants and it is clean. They have a wonderful gift shop as well.

Being from the South means you know someone put forth an effort to feed you well when it happens. Although our server might have had to ask us to explain our Southern tradition of having "souo" in soup beans...and when listening to our heavy Southern dialect. .. he never quit trying to get it just right. Kudos to the young man for sticking to true manners when trying to please the"out of towners. All that was missing was a southern "ya-all come back now ya-hear"?

Sadly, after years of visiting Cracker Barrel from time to time, I have become increasingly disappointed. On our last visit for breakfast, the service was so-so. We used to be able to depend on the menu providing us options that accommodated our need to be gluten free, but this time the menu choices were a mess. We had to order a la carte, and it appears the waitress put our order in as items from the menu with substitutions - I am assuming to save us money. A few of our items never made it but showed up on the bill. We left very disappointed.

Manager made things right after a weird encounter with a rogue waitress. I appreciated his attention. He knows what he is doing.
