Creekside Communty Recreation Centre is a public community centre operated by the Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation. We are located on the sea wall in South East False Creek in the former Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Athletes Village.

Small weight training area with a great view. Surprisingly not too busy. The little lockers for your valuables right in the training space is a nice feature. Lots of different events going on in the building which gives it a nice friendly vibe. Very affordable drop in rate. Parking is terrible.

Not a lot of machines in the fitness centre but convenient if you work in the neighbourhood (like me). Easy to pop in before, after or even during your lunch break. Clean facilities and helpful staff. Lockers located outside the changerooms and shower stalls are small so maybe plan around showering offsite.

Some courses are always full and waiting lists do not seem to help. Some courses fill in seconds after opening! Which is good for them but some more courses added already existing super popular ones would be appreciated. Their dragonboat classes does not teach safe navigation of waterways. Really nice and modern space and location. Most instructors are very knowledgable about the subject.

Kettle bells! Outdoor patio good for skipping and slam balls. Cross fit inspired stuff. Strong women and men.

Typical community center, but with a more modern and fresh feel. Great classes, great location, great views. I've enjoyed every class I've signed up for here (mainly yoga, but also Zumba, Sun Run Clinic, dragon boat). I've also rented Multipurpose Room 4 for an event which ran smoothly and got a lot of compliments on the views. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Every so often Creekside hosts markets like the Portabello Market which are quite fun.
