Crimson and Gold have their vibe. It's a fun place on the weekends but would recommend that you be a student to enjoy the atmosphere.  Their pioneer ale was pretty good tho. Their Cornhole setup was awesome!

Only stopped in for a drink while waiting for our soccer game and that drink took 20 minutes to get when there were maybe 5 people total in the entire place. Add to that the bartender asked my bf 3 times what beer he wanted and still somehow got the wrong one. Weird experience to say the least. I'm sure it's a fun place for the college kids in the area but wouldn't be my go to in the future.

We love this place! Even though it’s a college bar we still love to come early before the late night college rush comes through. We love all of the bartenders here and it’s just been a solid go to.

Great place to meet locals or meet up after a meeting. Awesome special's and great pricing. Friendly staff and great food. Definitely a must come to before or after a DU hockey game. Enjoy!

This was my first time at Crimson and Gold Tavern and I had a great time! Emily and Laura were the bartenders and they were amazing! I came here by myself to get some work done. They were knowledgeable about the alcohol and food. They both made me feel welcome and spoke with me between serving other customers while also leaving me to my work. Very impressed with the service and selection here!

Oh man..the food is absolutely AWFUL. our hot food that came out had red dye on the bottom. The salsa tastes like water, the pizza is basically a giant ball of cooked dough with a tiny bit of cheese, the pretzel we got was hard clearly re-heated and the burger had such a weird funk to the taste. Fried pickles were soggy. No wonder DU students don’t come here. I expected bar food but this was absolutely tasteless and not worth the money. This is the second time I’ve gotten food from here and both times were more than disappointing. For being in such a prime location I know why older people come here. They really need to step it up. I can see why everyone goes to Spankys and the other bars instead of this one.
